Join us as we celebrate the end of the Christmas season with Twelfth Night. This beautiful candlelight service commemorates the Magi visitation to the infant Christ on the eve of Epiphany. We will welcome the congregations of St. Luke's, Shelbyville, and St. Thomas, Franklin and the Rev. Whitney Rice.

After the celebration we will continue with a festive reception in the Parish Hall in the basement. Christmas logs, fruitcake, fruit punch, and mulled wine will be available for all!

Parking is available in the Express Garage located on Pennsylvania Ave. Please bring your ticket to church for stamp to be validated.

Vestry Nominations Beginning

Posted by

Being a member of the Vestry of the church is a very important ministry. Members are lay leaders of the church who not only make decisions and see to the business of the church, but they are also lay spiritual leaders. They are fully engaged in discipleship through regular worship, prayer, formation, giving and serving.

Vestry members are expected to participate in the life of the Cathedral, regularly attending Sunday worship and monthly Vestry meetings. They must also meet financial commitments of contributing an annual pledge and be willing to encourage others to pledge. They must also participate in church functions and outreach activities, and be knowledgeable on matters of the church and willing to serve as a resource to members.

Please prayerfully consider, do you know someone who would make a good member of the Vestry, or would you consider the responsibility?

If you would like to nominate someone or yourself, please contact Ken File at kenfile031@gmail.com or 317-507-3358. Please tell him why you think this person would be a good Vestry member.
